The J&J Ranch Project was reviewed and approved by the Orinda Planning Commission in August 2015. J&J Ranch received its final California State approval for the development project in June 2018. The three-year agreement between Friends of the Joaquin Moraga Adobe and J&J for the purchase of the Adobe began in 2018 with a completion date of September 2021.
